Overview

Procurement of High Mast Refurbishment at Ndondo area Cala; open to construction/ electrical/ high-mmast refurbishment specialists with CIDB registration and relevant plant/ safety capability. Requirements

• CIDB grading 2EP or higher; pre-qualification evaluated (minimum 70/100 to proceed to financial evaluation).
• Demonstrable technical capability: Project Manager (Diploma/N6 + Electrical trade), Site Supervisor (NQF4, 3+ years high-mast experience), Safety Officer (SAMTRAC), with proof attached.
• Availability of plant and equipment (e.g., Crane Truck, LDV) with ownership or lease evidence.
• Compulsory documents: completed Bid document (MBD 1-9), latest CSD, COIDA good standing, CIDB proof, certified IDs, municipal billing clearance or lease/rates documentation, joint venture agreement if applicable; sign all price changes.
• Compliance: VAT-inclusive pricing; no bid from state employees; tax clearance (original SARS TCC) required; BBBEE status reflected for preference points.
• Local production/content and specific goals: points allocated for local and black-owned, women-owned and disability considerations; locality within Sakhisizwe/CHD/Eastern Cape influences scoring (see MBD 6.1, MBD 6.2 and associated tables).
