Requirements

• Submit quotations on the prescribed documents.

• Late, email, or facsimile quotations will not be considered.
• Quotations are evaluated under the Swellendam Municipality’s Preferential Procurement Policy and SCM Policy (80/20 system).
• Council may accept a quotation in full or in part and is not obliged to accept the highest or any quotation.
• Bids remain valid for 150 days from the closing date (per advert).

• Submit quotations in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the quotation number and description, and place in the Municipal Quotation Box at 11 Lind Street before the closing time.

• Inquiries must be in writing; no inquiries in the last two days before closing.
• Submissions are restricted to the prescribed documents; ensure a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN is included.
• Exhibits and documents are to be collected from the Supply Chain Management Office; late submissions or non-compliant methods will be rejected.
