Overview

Proposed supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a Solar PV system at the Governor’s Office, Public Service and Treasury Building, Turkana County Government. Open tender targeting renewable-energy/electrical contractors with demonstrated solar PV installation capability, licensed accordingly (NCA 7 Electrical or Solar PV Technician T1–T3), and AGPO youth certification; bids to be submitted via the Government IFMIS portal.

Requirements

  • Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
  • e-Tims registration acknowledgment from KRA

  • CR12 or ID for Sole Proprietors
  • Solar PV Technician license T1/T2/T3 OR NCA 7 Electrical
  • AGPO certificate for youth
  • Tender Securing Declaration Form
• Technical scoring criteria (max 100%) cover:
  • Key Personnel (supervisors and technicians with specified renewable-energy experience)
  • Proposed Works Program (Gantt chart)
  • Past contracts and related projects with completion certificates
  • Financials: audited accounts (2024–2025), turnover, cash flow, net assets, bank statements, bank credit reference
• Minimum score to progress: 70%
• Price validity: 120 days from tender closing
• Contract period: 12 weeks
• Tender submission via IFMIS portal; bids may be rejected if non-responsive
