Overview

Sourcing Fresenius Kabi infusion pumps, syringe drivers and related accessories for Frere Hospital for 24 months under a rates-based contract. Bidders should be manufacturers or South Africa-based accredited representatives for Fresenius Kabi, able to supply and support the full scope (equipment, accessories, installation, commissioning and end-user training) and to bid within the R1 million/24-month constraint. Submissions must be via CSD or the e-Tender Portal; no email/courier submissions (RFQ_Pumps_Fres.pdf).

Requirements

• A signed letter from the registered Fresenius Kabi manufacturer confirming the bidder as official accredited SA vendor.
• All infusion pumps and syringe drivers must carry a 2-year warranty.
• Equipment offered must be compatible with existing giving sets at Frere Hospital.
• Include estimated remaining service life of existing pumps/driver devices.
• Offer must include supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, demonstration and end-user training for all equipment and consumables.
• Tax/compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number; complete required forms (SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4, SBD6.1) and latest CSD report; bank confirmation letter.
• If bidding as a consortium/JV/sub-contractor, separate TCS/CSD details for each party.

• Documents to submit (as applicable): SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4, SBD6.1; latest CSD report; bank confirmation; tax PIN/TCS.
• Registrations: ensure Tax Compliance Status; provide CSD number if no TCS PIN; accredited SA representative proof if applicable.
• Contract/ordering: work/deliveries occur only after an official Purchase Order; contract values capped by R1 million or 24 months; GCC/SCC apply (see attached GCC).
