Overview

Procurement of an approved hazardous landfill site service provider to dispose delivered stormwater and hazardous waste from JRA depots for a period of three years. Bidders with hazardous waste disposal expertise and licensed landfill operations, able to manage stormwater and hazardous waste in compliance with applicable environmental laws, are invited. CIDB grading: not specified (N/A).

Requirements

• Must be an approved hazardous landfill site capable of disposing stormwater and hazardous waste for JRA.
• Compliance with MFMA, Municipal SCM Regulations, PPPFA 2022, JRA SCM policy, and related guidelines.
• Local content thresholds apply where designated; evaluate accordingly.
• Mandatory briefing attendance; non-attendance leads to immediate disqualification (see attached advert).
• Submit both hard copy (sealed envelope) and USB with electronic RFB in prescribed format, plus required returnables (as per bid documents).
• Submit inquiries in writing to tenderenquiries@jra.org.za at least seven calendar days before closing.
• Bid validity: 120 days from bid closing date.

• Briefing: Mandatory briefing on 07 July 2026 at 10:00, JRA Fleet and Plant Depot, 350 Albertina Sisulu Street, FORDSBURG. (see document above)
• Closing: 30 July 2026 at 11:00.
• Submission method: HARD copy in SEALED envelope; include a USB with the electronic RFB in prescribed format and all returnables. The tender box is at JRA Head Office, 75 Helen Joseph Street/Cnr Harrison Street, Johannesburg CBD.
