Overview

CTICC invites bids for two consultancy services: Specialist Electrical Engineering Consultant for Solar PV installation on CTICC 1 Roof and Structural Engineering Consultant for the CTICC 1 Halls Roof Sheet Replacement and Solar PV Installation. Suitably qualified, experienced and registered electrical and structural engineering consultancies with solar PV installation experience are invited to submit proposals.

Requirements

• Suitably qualified, experienced and registered with relevant professional bodies for electrical and structural engineering with solar PV experience.
• Bidders must be registered on the CTICC Database and Central Supplier Database prior to adjudication to be responsive.
• Evaluation uses an 80/20 scoring: 80 price, 15 BBBEE, 5 locality; minimum functionality score 70.
• Mandatory briefing: 30 October 2026 at 10:00, CTICC 1 Meeting Room 1.61.
• Submissions must be sealed original bids in an A4 envelope, clearly stating bid number and name; deliver to Tender Box 1, Ground Floor; closing 9 November 2026 at 12:00; late or non-sealed bids not accepted.
• Documents: request copies by email; physical documents cost R200; electronic requests preferred.
