Overview

This tender seeks to procure 20 portable two-way air-band transceiver radios, plus servicing, repairs, routine maintenance and airtime subscription (non-NFC) for Polokwane International Airport, over a 36-month period. The supplier must have a traceable track record in portable two-way radios and be capable of delivering and maintaining equipment within a 10 km radius of the airport, per the specified technicalcriteria.

Requirements

• 20 portable two-way air-band radios meeting the specified technical descriptions (frequency 118.000–136.975 MHz, min 10 km range, case size ~52x105x30 mm, weight ~10.6, 6.0–9.5 VDC battery/charging, 5.0 W PEP, 1.5 W carrier, 16+ hour battery life).
• Demonstrable, traceable track record in portable two-way radios and related services.
• Administrative mandatory documentation: complete and sign Invitation to Bid (SBD1), Declaration of Interest (SBD4), and Preference Points (SBD6.1); include Pricing Schedule.
• Compliance documents: full Central Supplier Database (CSD) profile, proof of address, and SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; ensure tax clearance where applicable.
• Compliance with PFMA GCC and any special conditions; supplier due diligence and potential site visits.
• Final award uses 80/20 price-preference (price 80; specific goals 20); specify goals for ownership by black/women/youth/disability, SMMEs/QSEs, and rural/township location.
