Requirements

• Rent/lease three X-ray machines and three walk-through metal detectors for 12 months; installation and commissioning included.
• Equipment must support indoor access control with features such as RFID asset tracking, tamper-proof design, self-test, and software for recording asset movements.
• Training for GCIS security officers; two complete manuals (operating and maintenance).
• Detailed company profile with years of relevant experience; letters of reference for similar 12+ month leasing; contact details and signs of authenticity.
• Tools of trade: vehicles, qualified technicians, administrator, and the equipment itself; provision of on-site staff to manage quotations and invoicing.
• Detailed project plan with timelines, including urgent support/maintenance contact; support response targets (e.g., repair within specified windows).
• Compliance documents: SBD forms (1, 3.3, 4, 6.1), GCC, CSD number, SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD if no PIN, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE), and youth ownership documentation for preference points.
