Overview

Sport Competition and Event Management Training Programme – a two-day capacity-building training for local sport events, including learner manuals, assessments and certificates. Target bidders: providers with sport development/training capability; address sector: municipal sport development, community and school sport.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sport competition or event management training.
• SAQA/SETA/QCTO accreditation or valid agreement with an accredited provider if accredited certification is offered.
• Proven track record with 3+ contactable references.
• Compliance with Cape Agulhas SCM requirements and confidentiality.
• Tax compliance status PIN (or proof) and CSD registration; VAT status as applicable.
• Willingness to meet 80/20 evaluation framework (price vs. preference = 80/20) and adhere to the Municipality’s terms.
• Provide complete bid documentation on official CAMBD forms and bind documents securely.

• Submission method: sealed envelope or post to Cape Agulhas Municipality (1 Dirkie Uys Street, Bredasdorp, or PO Box 51, Bredasdorp 7280). Noting that site/online submissions are not described as mandatory.

  • Tax Compliance Status PIN (CAMBD 2); Documents of Incorporation (Schedule 1C); Payment of Municipal Accounts (Schedule 1D) with latest municipal account; B-BBEE certificate (Schedule 1E); Schedule 1F (Experience & references); Schedule 1A (Authority of Signatory).
• Registrations/Pre-qualifications: Tax compliance PIN; CSD registration; CIDB not required (n/a); VAT status as applicable.
• Briefing: Site Information Session Not Compulsory.

• Evaluation: Two-stage process (functionality first, then price and preference). Preference points: 80/20 (Price 80; B-BBEE and Locality 20).
