Overview

Eskom seeks bids for Station Road Repairs at Hendrina Power Station (12 months) under an NEC3 ECC3-based contract. The work covers road repairs, pothole patching, traffic management, underground services detection, road redesign/reconstruction and related rehabilitation activities. Bid respondents should be a civil/roads contractor with proven capabilities in road repair, project quality management (ISO 9001), and familiarity with Eskom tender processes (e-tendering) and NEC3 contract data. Requirements

• Proven ability to deliver 12-month road repair works at a major power station, with quality and safety systems in place.
• Quality Management System: ISO 9001:2015 with documented QMS, top-management commitment, and internal audits; provide evidence of QMS in operation and related reports.
• Contract documentation: Familiarity with NEC3 ECC3 conditions; capacity to sign Form of Offer/Acceptance and Schedule of Deviations.
• Quality planning: Draft Contract Quality Plan (CQP) and Quality Control Plans/ITP per scope (ISO 10005 references).
• Tender documentation: Complete SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2 (local content and preference), Tax Evaluation questionnaire, Supplier Integrity Pact Annexures, and other annexures (A–J).
• CIDB and BBEE: CIDB registration appropriate to civil works; BBBEE/SDL&I/CSDG obligations and targets.
• Returnables: Complete required returnable templates (Tender Returnables).
• Environmental and OHS: Environmental checklist and OHS tender evaluation templates to be addressed.
