Overview

Storage rental lease space for SAEON SAPRI Egagasini Nodes Marine Sampling Equipment in Cape Town for five years. Requirements

• Secure storage facility of at least 100 m², with 24-hour access control, 24/7 security, electric perimeter fencing, fire detection/alarm, lighting, secure parking, and material handling access.
• Location within 10 km of SAEON’s Foreshore offices (Cape Town).
• Ability to store marine sampling gear (e.g., mooring systems, Argo floats, gliders, weather stations, bottles, PPE).
• Delivery/contract terms: 5-year lease (first 2 years fixed, next 3 years variable with 3 months’ notice); penalties for non-performance.
• Compliance and procurement rules: PPPFA/GCC adherence; required SBD forms; tax and supplier registrations (CSD, SARS TCS PIN) and site-visit verification.
• Evaluation: mandatory functionality criteria (space, fire, access, security, lighting) and pricing with price and preference scoring.
