Overview

RFQ for the Namibian Repatriation event coordination and logistics on behalf of Iziko Museums of South Africa. Bidders should have proven experience in high-profile cultural events and provide services across AV/Tech, media buying, videography, photography, and related event logistics, with CSD registration, tax clearance, and B-BBEE compliance. The project involves 84 Namibian nationals and will be delivered under Iziko’s oversight.

Requirements

• Proven capability to coordinate the programme, logistics, venue, technical requirements and related services, with delivery aligned to the approved programme.
• Ability to deliver with dignity, cultural sensitivity and professionalism, in consultation with SA/Namibian authorities, families and stakeholders; written approvals required for project deliverables.
• Provision of listed service items: AV & Tech, Media Buying, Videography, Photography, Lanyards & pockets; production of adverts as needed; onsite support for the event.
• Pricing must include a detailed, VAT-inclusive pricing structure; quotes valid for 60 days; no undisclosed disbursements unless approved.
• Mandatory compliance documents: Central Supplier Database (CSD) report with supplier number and tax status; valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; signed RFQ; detailed pricing on company letterhead.
• Preference points: 80/20 system; demonstrate specific goals (HDI, black ownership) with required documentation (Annexures A/B in the RFQ).
