Overview

Supplementary bid for the supply and delivery of Comfort Packs to District & Sub-Structure Offices under the Western Cape Government Health and Wellness, for a period ending 30 September 2028. Bidders must be compliant with bid requirements and registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Requirements

• Duly registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) at bid closing.
• Complete mandatory Western Cape Bid Documents: WCBD1, WCBD3.1, WCBD4, WCBD5, WCBD6.1.
• Evidence of ability to supply to District & Sub-Structure Offices; compliance with bid specifications; provide samples for clinical evaluation.
• Deliveries within 21 days to specified district/sub-structure stores; packaging and labeling as per WCBD 3.1.
• Warranty: 12 months from delivery/acceptance; non-conforming goods may be rejected; adherence to GCC/SCC.
• Bids must include hard copies and a USB copy; late submissions not accepted; submission via bid box and (where applicable) electronic portal.

How to Apply

• Review bid documents on the e-Tenders portal (and attached Bid Documents: Bid Document WCGHCC0038-1-2025 Comfort Packs.pdf). Questions must be submitted by 13 November 2026; responses by that date.
• Ensure CSD registration and tax/compliance status; self-register if not already on CSD; obtain assistance from e-Procurement Helpdesk if needed.
• Prepare and submit the mandatory WCBD documents: WCBD1, WCBD3.1, WCBD4, WCBD5, WCBD6.1 (and any annexures) in black ink; ensure all pages are complete and signatures are original.
• Submit hard copies to the Bid Box marked Department of Health and Wellness at the Bellville venue; also provide a soft copy on USB; electronic submission may be accepted via the portal where applicable.
• Provide samples at bid closure (20 November 2026 at 11:00); attach evaluation forms per sample; ensure samples are labeled with bid and item details.
• If awarded, sign the Contract Form (WCBD 7.1) and comply with procurement conditions.
