Procurement of supply and delivery of new building materials for a period up to 30 June 2030. Drakenstein Municipality invites bids from suppliers offering to supply and deliver building materials; bid is an open-tender (PROC 12/2026). Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on Drakenstein Municipality’s supplier database.
• Tax compliance in terms of MBD 1 (Part B).
• Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid number and placed in tender box 1 before the closing time.
• Tender documents must remain valid for a minimum of 260 days after closing.
• Attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting is mandatory; late arrivals disqualify.
• No electronic submissions; tenders deposited in the specified tender box only.
• Evaluation uses the Procurement Preference Point System 80/20.
• A written contract will be required for the successful bidder.
• Hard-copy tender documents (if collected physically) incur a non-refundable fee of R450; electronic copies are free (where applicable).
• Compliance with GCC and Special Conditions; relevant specifications.
