Overview

Procurement of 2 Canon EOS R cameras (with lens) for the Community Unit, to be delivered to the Komani/Queenstown site; suited to accredited service providers with imaging gear capability and relevant procurement credentials. Bidders should be Accredited Service Providers registered on CSD, with SARS Tax Compliance, and able to supply Canon EOS R equipment per the specified specs (see Terms of Reference, attached document SUPPLY AND DELIVER 2 X CAMERAS FOR THE COMMUNICATION UNIT.pdf).

Requirements

• Copy of company CK registration; CSD registration; SARS Tax Compliance PIN; certified IDs for directors; and documentation not older than 3 months.
• If applicable, comprehensive JV/consortium agreement.
• Complete Form of Offer and all bid forms (e.g., declaration of interest).
• Proof of municipal account or lease/SAPS affidavit as required.
• Company profile with proven experience; BBBEE evidence; and TAX clearance.
• Bidders must sign price alterations; no tipex; bid valid for 90 days.
• B-BBEE status and locality preferences will be scored (PPPFA 80/20).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 23 September 2026 at 12:00. (see document)
• Submit in a sealed envelope to the Budget and Treasury Office, 25-27 Owen Street, Queenstown; mark as RFQ31/09/2026.
• Bids must be deposited in the Bid Box by closing time; postal/telegraphic bids are not acceptable.
• Documentation to submit includes MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD6.2, MBD8, MBD9) and a cost schedule with VAT included (see attached).
• Bid documents are available at the SCM office (25-27 Owen Street) and can be downloaded from www.enochmgijima.gov.za; reference attached filename.
• Site inspections: none formally required, but bidders should acquaint themselves with requirements.
• Evaluation uses PPPFA 80/20: Price (80), BBBEE (10), Locality (10); Stage 1 (compliance), Stage 2 (price/B-BBEE/locality).
