SUPPLY AND DELIVER A NEW 2.5MVA 11KV/400V OIL IMMERSED TRANSFORMER FOR SANDILE WATER TREATMENT WORKS

Overview

Supply and deliver a new 2.5MVA 11KV/400V oil-immersed transformer for Sandile Water Treatment Works. Amatola Water invites qualified electrical equipment suppliers/manufacturers or installers with CSD registration and SARS tax compliance to bid, with experience in medium/high voltage oil-immersed transformers and related standards (SABS 780, IEC 60296, GCC).

Requirements

• CSD registration and tax compliance (SARS PIN); provide CSD number or Tax Compliance Status.
• Ensure compliance with PPPFA and GCC; bid validity 120 days; submissions on official forms.
• Complete returnable documents: SBD1, Form A, Form B (B1/B2), SBD4, SBD3.1; SBD6.1 for specific goals; joint venture agreements if applicable.
• Technical eligibility: SABS 780 approved transformer; ACTOM or equivalent; ability to supply with type test and factory acceptance certificates; mineral oil per IEC 60296 with PCB <50ppm; transformer fitted with Buchholz relay and oil/WT indicators; 5-position off-load tap changer; 3-phase, 11kV/400V, Dyn11, ONAN, HV copper/LV aluminium.
• Delivery scope: supply, deliver, and off-load at Sandile Water Treatment Works; lead time ~3 months; no on-site installation required.
• Documentation and approvals: evidence of previous related contracts; appropriate staff qualifications (Electrical Engineer/Technologist/Technician) as specified.
