Overview

The procurement is for the supply and delivery of laboratory materials for Johannesburg Water's Cydna Lab (RFQ 6000080651). Eligible bidders are manufacturers/distributors of lab consumables and PPE with CSD registration; the assignment covers items such as pipette tips, sterile tips, membranes, Petri dishes, gloves, filter papers, bailers, etc. Quotes must be submitted via the E-Tender Portal, with a 60-day validity.

Requirements

• Mandatory: full BOQ/specification completion; attendance at compulsory briefing; datasheets, references, certifications as applicable; no bids from state employees or blacklisted entities; PDF quotes on company letterhead; JV agreements if applicable.
• Documentation: Original tax clearance; BBBEE certificate or compliant affidavit; municipal rates not in arrears (not older than 90 days); MBD 4, 8, 9; proof of CSD registration; MBD 6.1 (preference points); company registration docs with IDs.
• Technical: provide datasheets and manufacturer names for all items (notes specify this; failure to provide datasheets may lead to disqualification).
• Platform and format: quotes must be on company letterhead and PDFs; submit via E-Tender Portal.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price-to-specific-goals scoring; 20 points for Specific Goals (SMME/51% black-owned) with BBBEE verification as proof.
• Specific goals: SMME status may yield up to 20 points; evidence via BBBEE certificate/affidavit.
