Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of latex gloves (medium, large, extra-large) to the Foretrust Building, Cape Town. Bidders should be PPE/gloves suppliers capable of supplying three sizes, with pricing on your letterhead, and must meet Department of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries (DFFE) requirements (SBD forms, BBB-EE, tax/compliance, CSD/MAAA).

Requirements

• Glove specs: natural latex, powder-free, 0.6 mm, break-through time >480 min; 50 gloves per box, 10 boxes per size (Medium/Large/Extra Large). Include product spec sheet.
• Delivery: to Foretrust Building, Foreshore, Cape Town; all delivery costs included; no delivery before official order.
• Mandatory compliance: complete and sign SBD 4 and SBD 6.1; submit Food Premises Certificate in bidding company name; CSD/MAAA number; tax/GST/VAT compliance; SARS PIN.
• Preference points: 80/20 system (price vs specific goals); provide proof for specific goals:
  • More than 50% ownership by Black people
  • More than 50% ownership by Women
  • More than 50% ownership by people with disabilities
• Documentation: SANAS/CIPC-accredited BBB-EE certificate or sworn affidavit; medical certificate (if claiming disability); joint ventures must submit consolidated BBB-EE.
• DFFE reserve rights: request additional information; negotiate prices; ensure quotations are valid for the stated period.
