Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of materials for the Civil Unit 8-ton truck, including steel frame components, tarpaulin, plywood, toolboxes and related hardware; open to Accredited Service Providers with CSD registration, SARS Tax Compliance and BBBEE credentials. Bids close 23 September 2026 at 12:00.

Requirements

• Copy of company registration (CK) to be submitted with bid.
• National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration.
• SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; or proof if registered.
• Certified IDs of directors (within 3 months validity).
• Certified supporting documents not older than 3 months.
• Comprehensive JV agreement if applicable.
• Fully completed bid forms (e.g., Form of Offer, declaration of interest).
• Statement of municipal rates/service charges (not older than 3 months) or lease/SAPS affidavit.
• Ensure documents are completed as required; no tipex; price alterations signed.
• Company profile with proven prior experience.
• Preference for Lowest/Part or portions at Municipality’s discretion.
• 90-day bid validity; no quotes from state officers; adherence to bid rules.

Evaluation: PPPFA 80/20 (Price 80, BBBEE 10, Specific Goals 10); Stage 1 Compliance; Stage 2 Financial, Locality and BBBEE.

• Submission: sealed envelope marked RFQ32/09/2026 and the bidder name; place in the Bid Box, Budget and Treasury Office, 25-27 Owen Street, Queenstown, by 23 September 2026 at 12:00. No electronic submissions.
• Documents to submit (must include all MBD forms and related schedules): MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD6.2, MBD8, MBD9, Form of Offer (C1.1) and related attachments (see attached RFQ documentation).
• Pre-qualification: Tax clearance (TCS/PIN), CSD registration, certified IDs, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and JV details if applicable.
• Site briefing: No formal site inspection; bidders assumed to understand requirements.
