Overview

Procurement of bolts, nuts, gaskets, and related fasteners as specified in the RFQ for Johannesburg Water (Langlaagte and Southdale depots). Suitable bidders are suppliers/manufacturers of stainless steel fasteners (ISO 4014 compliant), rubber and KLINGERITE gaskets, with ability to supply to the depot locations and provide datasheets and brand names as required.

Requirements

• Manufacturer datasheets and brand names for all items (failure to provide -> disqualification).
• Complete the Bill of Quantities / Specifications; attend compulsory site briefing (where applicable).
• Quotes must be on company letterhead, in PDF; no state service affiliations if applicable.
• Mandatory documents: Original tax clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates not in arrears, MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9, proof of CSD registration, MBD 6.1, company registration docs with director IDs.
• Pre-qualification and compliance: JV agreements if applicable; supply chain policy adherence; BBBEE/GCC and PPPFA considerations.
• Preference points: 80/20 or 90/10 system as applicable; specific goals aligned with PPPFA 2022 (e.g., 51% black-owned SMME status).
