Overview

Supply and delivery of catering services for the IDP and Budget Outreach (9 months). Reputable and experienced service providers should bid; the project uses an 80/20 preference system (80 price, 20 specific goals) and requires pricing that remains valid for 180 days.

Requirements

• Registered on Central Suppliers Database (CSD) with proof of registration.
• MBD forms: MBD4, MBD8, MBD6.1 and MBD9.
• Municipal rates and services certificate confirming no arrears for directors/owners/shareholders and the company.
• Attach a valid lease agreement if occupying leased office space.
• Tender documents must be completed on the provided company letterhead and signed by an authorized person.
• Evidence for Specific Goals (RDP) as part of the 20 goal points, including verification documents (e.g., CSD address, utility bill or letter from local authority).

• Tender documents available on the municipal website and from the cashier (169 Main Street, uMzimkhulu) for R150 per document; payment by bank guaranteed cheque accepted. • Submission: deposits must be in the uMzimkhulu Tender Box, 169 Main Street, by 12:00 on 07 August 2026; late or non-submitted tenders will not be accepted.
• Submissions must use the municipality’s tender documents; reference the 80/20 SCM policy and 180-day price validity.
