Overview

Supply and delivery of six Streaming Current Detectors (SCd 16mp) to Ugu District Municipality. Bidders should be capable of supplying electronic/instrumentation detectors and meet mandatory government procurement requirements (CIPC registration, CSD registration, SARS tax compliance) and submit the official bid forms.

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with a current update (not older than 3 months)
• SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificate or PIN (foreign vendors to address via pre-award questions)
• Complete MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8 and MBD9 forms
• To claim specific goals, provide certified EME/QSE ownership documentation
• Proof of municipal service payments (water account/lease/SAPS affidavit) if applicable
• Compliance with GCC and PPPFA; firm’s right to award partially or not at all; price and goals evaluated under 80/20 (price) and Specific Goals (20)

• Documents can be obtained at Ugu District Municipality, Treasury/Supply Chain Management Office, 96 Marine Drive, Oslo Beach, or downloaded from the website from 29 September 2026 to closing (see REQ26990.pdf).
• Submission deadline: 12:00 on 05 October 2026; deposited in the official bid box at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach (REQ26990). Faxed, emailed or late bids will not be accepted; bids must remain valid for 30 days from closing.
