Overview

Cape Agulhas Municipality invites bids to supply and deliver emergency kits for fire & flood victims for a period of 24 months. The contract covers delivery, off-loading, and ongoing supply of specified kit components and related services, with an 80/20 evaluation (price 80; B-BBEE and locality 20). Kit contents and delivery requirements are defined in the tender scope (SCM3/2026/27).

Kit contents (SCM3/2026/27 Scope): 4×76mm×76mm×2.7m untreated pine poles; 6×76mm×50mm×2.7m pine poles; 3m×6m plastic sheeting (250 microns); 500g 75mm nails; 500g 100mm nails; 500g 32mm clout nails; 5×610mm×3.1m galvanized roof sheets. Delivery lead time is 10 working days; address: Traffic Department, Bredasdorp.

Requirements

• Tax/registration and compliance:
• Tax Compliance PIN (SARS) and Tax Compliance Status certificate; include PIN with bid (CAMBD 2).
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; VAT status; CIDB registration if applicable; ensure compliance for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Returnable documents: CAMBD 1, CAMBD 4, CAMBD 6.1, CAMBD 8, CAMBD 9, Form of Offer, and Contract Data (as applicable).
• B-BBEE: submit B-BBEE status level certificate or sworn affidavit; complete CAMBD 1E.
• Municipal accounts: latest municipal account and a Municipal Services certificate (Schedule 1D).
• General bid integrity: all official forms must be used; no retyping; binding and page-initialing requirements.
