Supply and Deliver of Maestro RTU SeriesClosed

Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of Maestro RTU Series RTUs (25 units) for Johannesburg Water. This invites bids from suppliers with instrumentation/automation, telemetry or SCADA integration expertise, capable of confirming compatibility with JW Telemetry (or providing OEM confirmation for equivalents). The RTUs must meet the specified features and interfaces (Modbus, DNP3, 24 I/O, DIN-rail mounted, 10–18 VDC power, etc.) as per the attached specification (RFQJW0079SM2026.pdf).

Requirements

• Full completion of the BOQ/specification (where applicable) and attachment of datasheets, reference letters, proof of certification/accreditation, and functionality requirements (where applicable) (RFQJW0079SM2026.pdf).
• Attendance at compulsory site briefing (where applicable) and submission on PDF on company letterhead (no Word/Excel images).
• No RFQ from persons in the service of the state; no blacklisted bidder; vendor must be registered on CSD.
• Submit a valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; attach all MBD forms (MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 6.1); provide company registration documents with IDs.
• Provide a copy of lease agreement or municipal account not older than 3 months and not in arrears beyond 90 days.
• Acceptance is subject to JW Supply Chain Policy; if an equivalent RTU is proposed, OEM must confirm in writing and demonstrate compatibility with JW telemetry.
• Pricing must be firm, inclusive of taxes; price/points follow PPPFA 2022 (80/20 or 90/10 depending on Rand value) (per PPPFA rules).

How to Apply

• Submissions must be made via the e-tender portal; closing date/time: 27 July 2026 at 16:00. The bid is valid for 60 days from closing.

  • Original valid Tax Clearance
  • BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Municipal rates/taxes statement not older than 90 days
  • Signed Declaration of Interest (MBD 4)
  • Declaration of Bidders past SCM practices (MBD 8)
  • Certificate of Independent Proposal Determination (MBD 9)
  • Proof of CSD registration / supplier number
  • Preference points claim form (MBD 6.1)
  • Company registration documents with IDs of directors
