Overview

Supply and delivery of padlocks and keys. PRASA invites bids from hardware/security suppliers capable of sourcing and delivering padlocks and keys to the Cape Town facility, with compliance to SARS tax rules, CSD registration, and PRASA procurement processes.

Requirements

• Tax/compliance: provide SARS PIN for tax verification; if applicable, CSD registration number; where applicable, TCS PIN; ensure compliance of all parties (consortia require separate TCS/CSD per party).
• Returnable documents: complete ALL RFQ documentation, including declarations; provide official bid forms (SBDs) and pricing schedules; ensure administrative responsiveness.
• CIDB/tendering: CIDB grading and bid bond are listed as Not Applicable for Stage 1A; other mandatory items apply.
• Specific goals (PPPFA): 20 total specific-goals points available (BBEE level 2 or better = 10 points; 51% Black Owned EME/QSE = 10 points).
• Budget/funding: award subject to budget provision and funding approval; bidders must acknowledge potential funding contingencies.
• Price/terms: quotes in Rand, fixed price including taxes; delivery period stated; payment within 30 days of correct tax invoice.
• Delivery scope: delivery to PRASA site as specified in the RFQ; earliest possible delivery period to be offered.
