Overview

RFQ for the supply and delivery of paraffin, grease ball, lubricant spray and lubricant oil to PRASA. The scope covers paraffin, ball bearing grease, lubricant spray and engine/related lubricants, to be delivered to Cape Town (PHOPNET/Adderley Street). Requirements

• Mandatory documents (Stage 1A/1B): CIDB grading proof (Not Applicable); SARS PIN and Tax Compliance Status; CSD registration; complete RFQ documentation; and any JV/subcontractor requirements as applicable.
• Compliance: adherence to PPPFA 80/20 framework; prices in Rand including taxes; fixed pricing; delivery terms as stated in the pricing schedule.
• Delivery, warranty, and penalties: delivery by order date; penalties for late delivery; 1-year warranty from acceptance; risk/title transfer on acceptance.
• Supplier setup: National Treasury CSD enrollment required (foreign suppliers may be exempt); proof of tax/compliance status as above; declarations for PEP/PIP and anti-corruption per SBD6.1.
• Evaluation: 80 points for price, 20 for specific goals (e.g., B-BBEEE levels); participation subject to minimum compliance; potential contract award to highest-scoring bidder subject to objective criteria.
