Overview

PRASA invites bids for the supply and delivery of uniforms, including Customer Services female and male sets, with a detailed pricing schedule attached (10373981 v2.docx). Eligible bidders are uniform/apparel suppliers or textile manufacturers capable of large-volume delivery, and must meet compliance requirements (SARS PIN, CSD, SABS/standards) and provide delivery, warranty, and after-sales support.

Requirements

• Valid SARS PIN or Tax Compliance Status (TCS) and, if applicable, CSD registration
• Completion and submission of all RFQ documentation; consistent with PFMA/PPPFA rules
• CSD number required if no TCS PIN
• SABS product certification or equivalent tests/declarations for offered items
• If a joint venture/subcontractor is involved, separate TCS/CSD/Docs for each party
• Compulsory briefings attendance and related forms (if applicable)
• Preference points: BBBEE level 2+ and/or other specific goals claimed with evidence (80/20 weight on price vs. goals)
• Delivery and warranty: delivery by order date; 1-year warranty on items; title passes on acceptance
• Special funding contingency: award subject to budget allocation; bid may be canceled if funding is unavailable
