Overview

Johannesburg Water seeks quotations to supply and deliver a specified range of hand tools and related hardware listed in the RFQ. Eligible bidders are hardware suppliers able to source the listed items, provide manufacturer datasheets/brand names, and meet PPPFA requirements (incl. specific goals). Requisition no. 15099124; closing 22 Jul 2026; submit via eTender only; 60-day validity; sample units may be requested; brand-name requirements apply.

Requirements

• Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide supplier number.
• Original valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
• BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (compliant per 2018 guide).
• Municipal rates/taxes statement not older than 90 days in arrears.
• Complete MBD forms: Declaration of Interest (MBD 4), Past SCM practices (MBD 8), Independent Proposal Determination (MBD 9), and MBD 6.1 for preferences.
• Proof of lease agreement or municipal account not older than 3 months; not in arrears beyond 90 days.
• Quotations must be on company letterhead and PDF; no email submissions.
• Provide datasheets and brand names for all items; failure to do so may disqualify.
• No quotations from persons in the state service or blacklisted bidders.
• If applicable, submit Joint Venture agreement properly signed.
• Returnable documents (as per RFQ) must be provided; sample units may be requested (6000080596_Tools RFQ Hamburg and Langlaagte.pdf).

• Documents to attach include: Original tax clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates, MBD 4/8/9/6.1, proof of CSD registration, company registration docs, and IDs for directors.
