Overview

Supply and delivery of 20L Drums with keg lid, closing ring and handle to iThemba LABS, Faure, Western Cape, for a period of three (3) years. Bidders should have packaging/industrial container supply capability, experience with steel UN/DG-compliant drums, and be able to meet CSD and tax compliance, SBD documentation, and BBBEE requirements.

Requirements

• Registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliance.
• Submission of mandatory documents: SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 and technical datasheets.
• Drums must comply with UN/DG Dangerous Goods, Groups I–III; certificates issued by the SA Bureau of Standards.
• Product datasheets meeting minimum RFQ specifications and a complete Pricing Schedule (incl. VAT).
• BBBEE documentation (B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit) and CSD Summary Report.
• Pricing must be firm, VAT inclusive, and valid for at least 60 days; PPPFA 80/20 evaluation applies.
• Evaluation will consider price, functionality/compliance, and BBBEE; tax-compliant bidders only.
• Delivery quantity: 250 drums per year; lead times to be confirmed.
