Overview

Supply and delivery of 3 utility passenger vehicles. Kenyatta National Hospital issues an open national tender for the supply and delivery of three utility vehicles for 2026–2027. Suitable bidders are automotive suppliers with capability to supply, deliver, and support vehicles in Kenya, and who can meet public-procurement requirements (eligibility, tax clearance, debarment checks, and acceptable origin of goods).

Requirements

• Eligibility and qualification: private entity, individual, state-owned entity, or joint venture; no public officers; no conflicts of interest; JV members jointly and severally liable; must not be debarred; tax clearance evidence; nationality considerations; potential need for Manufacturer’s Authorization if not manufacturing the goods.
• Goods eligibility and conformity: origin declarations; conformity to technical specifications in the Schedule of Requirements; list of spare parts and maintenance provisions; compliance with environmental and other stated standards.
• Documentation and security: Form of Tender and Price Schedules; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Joint Venture Agreement if applicable; authorization to sign; disclosures of commissions or fees.
• Additional provisions: items sourced from Kenya where indicated; environmental harmlessness of goods; all pages serialized and properly signed.

How to Apply

• Submit documents: complete Form of Tender and Price Schedules (Section IV), provide Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration as required, include Manufacturer’s Authorization if necessary, JV documents if applicable, and evidence of eligibility and qualifications.
• Tender documents: may be purchased for a non-refundable KSh 1000 (cash or Banker’s Cheque) or downloaded for free from www.knh.or.ke (electronic copies free; physical tendering required for submission).
• Submission: by 29 September 2026 at 10:00 local time, in a sealed envelope/package at Kenyatta National Hospital, Supply Chain Management Division, Contracts Office Room No. 6, Nairobi. Electronic submissions are not permitted.
• Opening: tenders opened publicly at KNH after the deadline, in the presence of bidders’ representatives.
• Registrations and pre-reqs: ensure tax clearance; verify PPRA/debarment status; ensure eligibility and conformity to Kenya procurement rules (and any TDS specifics).
