Overview

Supply and delivery of protective clothing for a 36-month period, as and when required. Reputable PPE/safety-gear suppliers with VAT compliance and proven experience should bid. Required prerequisites include B-BBEE verification, SARS tax clearance, company registration, municipal accounts in order, CSD registration, and audited financials.

Requirements

• Original or certified B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate
• Original Tax Clearance Certificate (SARS) or PIN
• Copy of company registration documents
• Municipal rates/taxes account not in arrears >90 days (or landlord’s municipal account if leased)
• Company profile and CSD Registration
• Audited annual financial statements for 3 years (tender may be above R10M)
• Functionality scoring: minimum 70% to progress to price/PPP stages
• Adherence to the SCM Policy and Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 (80/20 or 90/10)

• Documents to complete/submit: official bid documents (no email submissions); pricing schedule; MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.2, MBD8, MBD9 and related forms; pricing schedule (firm prices, Ex VAT, VAT 15%), and contract forms (copy of the contract and Form of Offer/Acceptance) as per ALMT02/2026
• Pre-qualifications: VAT compliance, B-BBEE, Tax Clearance, company registration, CSD Registration, municipal accounts, and Audited FS
