Overview

Procurement is for the supply and delivery of 400 Mink blankets (2-ply, 200 cm x 220 cm) for disaster relief; suitable for textile suppliers capable of stocking/producing these blankets and complying with SA public procurement rules.

Requirements

• Mandatory sample submission with bid (see BID DOCUMENT FOR Q06153-SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 400 BLANKETS FOR DISASTER RELIEF.pdf).
• Returnable documents: original owners’ IDs, company registration (CIPC), recent municipal accounts in the bidder and director names (or affidavits confirming non-arrears), MBD forms (1, 3.1 stamped, 4, 6.1, 8, 9), and company letterhead.
• Full CSD report; proof of Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN) or SARS status; VAT registration as applicable.
• Prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT; valid for at least 90 days.
• 80/20 Preferential Points System (80 for price, 20 for Specific Goals); all bidders must comply with MSM/SCM policies and provide required declarations.
• Compliance conditions include no false declarations; adherence to GCC/SCC; and bid documents completed in terms of the MBD series.
• Optional terms from the contract: 12-month warranty, 30-day payment terms after invoice, and other general contract provisions.
