Overview

Necsa invites bids for the supply and delivery of Medium Grade Vermiculite and Vermiculite Cement Mixture over a 3-year period. Bidders should be able to operate in regulated environments (nuclear/industrial), comply with the LE-PUR-0001 specification, and be prepared to conduct a prototype test run. Experience supplying vermiculite products, ISO 9001 or equivalent, and adherence to Necsa safety/quality requirements are important (Main.docx).

Requirements

• Compliance with the LE-PUR-0001 PURCHASE SPECIFICATION for Medium Grade Vermiculite and Vermiculite Cement Mixture; willingness to perform a prototype test run as described (LE-WIN-0136) before appointment.
• Pre-qualification: ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent; agency needs an OEM authorization letter if acting as an agent.
• Relevant experience in production/supply of vermiculite-containing products; provide multiple references and a demonstrated delivery capability.
• Health, Safety, Environmental and security commitments: submit Necsa SHEQ policies, and comply with site access, quality and project SHEQ requirements.
• Tax and supplier registrations: SARS tax clearance or PIN/CSD number; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit to claim points; compliance with SBD forms.
• Bid packaging and confidentiality: comply with returnable documents, 400mm x 100mm x 150mm bid-tacket limit, and sign all required declarations (confidentiality included).
