Overview

Supply and delivery of 60 remote data loggers with a mobile application. Johannesburg Water invites bids from suppliers with expertise in IoT data-loggers, remote monitoring, 4G/LTE communication, and mobile app integration. Proposals should include full datasheets, local South African support, and clearly indicate manufacturer details, model/part numbers, and unit prices.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide a valid supplier number.
• Submit on company letterhead; include a valid Tax Clearance and SARS PIN; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Attach all mandatory returnables: datasheet, reference letters, proof of certifications/accreditation, and completed functionality notes.
• Comply with pricing and documentation rules: MBD 3.1 (Pricing), MBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD 6.1 (Preference points), MBD 8 (Past SCM practices), MBD 9 (Independent Proposal Determination); proof of CSD registration.
• No RFQ from entities in the state service or blacklisted suppliers; quotes must be PDF and signed.
• Provide full technical information for the Remote Data Logger (minimum 2 analogue inputs, 4-20 mA compatibility, digital input, remote/configuration capabilities, 4G LTE, data storage and warranty).
• Warranty of at least 24 months; local representation and SA-based service capability; training included.
