Overview

The RFQ seeks the supply and delivery of a Tile Gigabit Ethernet Switch Test Carrier Board PCB (6-layer PCB with ENIG finish) and related items to iThemba LABS/NRF, for delivery to Auckland Park, Johannesburg (the RFQ specifies the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Science address). Bidders should have PCB fabrication/manufacturing capabilities and experience with 6-layer boards; see attached spec (RFQ Components PCB Production.pdf).

Note: the metadata lists a Western Cape delivery location, but the RFQ calls for Johannesburg delivery.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration required; bids from unregistered bidders not considered.
• Tax compliance status verified (PIN) via CSD/tax checks.
• Complete and submit mandatory documents: SBD 4 (Bid Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim).
• Submit BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for specific goals; include CSD Summary Report.
• Pricing must be complete, with VAT included; price validity of 60 days from closing date.
• Preferential Procurement Regulations apply; 80/20 pricing/BBEE points (or 80/20 for PPPFA); delivery period must be firm.
• Pricing and procurement terms: 30 days from invoice receipt; 30-day payment terms unless alternate agreed (via payment guarantee if needed).
• Late submissions rejected; price quotes must be for the exact specification or approved equivalents (with specifications provided).
• The Bidder must submit the attached forms and meet PPPFA/BBEE requirements (SBD forms, CSD, tax compliance).
