Overview

Procurement of a Sound Level Meter and Calibration Equipment for Bergrivier Municipality’s Traffic and Law Enforcement Department. Suitable bidders are experienced suppliers of sound measurement equipment, including IEC 61672 Class 1 meters and acoustic calibrators, with capability to deliver a fixed-price package and provide calibration tools.

Requirements

• Sound level meter with acoustic calibrator included (IEC 61672 Class 1; real-time octave analysis; data logging and ports).
• Equipment must be delivered to Piketberg (Sound-meter delivery location per spec).
• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD number and SARS TCS PIN; tax clearance required.
• Prices must be fixed and VAT included; prices valid for 120 days.
• Completion of MBD forms: MBD1, MBD3.2 (pricing), MBD4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD6.1 (Pref. points), MBD7.1 (Contract), MBD8/9/10 as applicable; MBD4 declaration of interest, and GCC where required.
• Locality and BBBEE points apply (80/20 system; specific goals: Bergrivier 10, West Coast 5, Western Cape 3, SA 2; BBBEE 10).
• Attach recent municipal accounts for company and directors; adhere to SCM practices disclosures.
• Compliance with Preferential Procurement Regulations and GCC.

• Submission method: deposit in the bid box at 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg (or post to PO Box 60, Piketberg). Late/faxed bids not accepted.
• Documents to submit: official bid response forms, Pricing Schedule (page 13), MBD forms (1, 3.2, 4, 6.1, 7.1, 8, 9, 10), CSD PIN/TCS, BBBEE documentation, tax clearance, municipal accounts; pricing must be fixed and VAT-inclusive.
• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration (MAAA…), SARS TCS PIN, Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; recent municipal accounts for company and directors.
