Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of agriculture inputs and equipment for Abaqulusi LED projects. Bidder should be able to source and deliver agricultural inputs (e.g., boiler feeds, seeds, fertilizers, cleaning tools, fencing materials) to Vryheid and have capacity for municipal supply. Suitable for agricultural input suppliers with experience in municipal LED projects, with compliance and delivery capabilities.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and provide CSD number.
• Valid company registration document.
• SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or Tax Clearance certificate (or both).
• If above R10 million, audited three-year AFS.
• Certified BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Relevant experience with reference letters.
• Certified current account or municipal bill/lease for proof of address (not older than 3 months).
• Certified IDs for directors/owners.
• If using consortia/JV/sub-contractors, separate TCS/PIN/CSD for each party.
• Must complete all Municipal Bidding Documents (MBDs) and comply with GCC.
• No bids from persons in the state service; submission and evaluation follow Preferential Procurement Regulations (80/20 price/goals).

Note: Specific goals (HDI, women, youth, disability, local labour) carry points; and the bid will be evaluated on price and these goals.

• Submission method: sealed bid in the Abaqulusi bid box (ground floor, Corner High Street & Mark Street, Vryheid 3100).

• Pre-qualifications/registrations: CSD registration, tax compliance, SARS PIN; water/electricity proof; company registration; BBEE.
