Overview

Supply and delivery of air-conditioning units and electrical appliances for the Nuclear Operating Unit (NOU) on an “as and when” required basis for five years. Bidders should be manufacturers/suppliers of HVAC equipment and electrical appliances with capacity to support Eskom Koeberg’s safety-critical site requirements and to comply with Eskom Koeberg’s SHE specifications and contract governance.

Requirements

• Compliance with Eskom Koeberg SHE specification and related OHS, environmental and quality rules.
• Sign a Section 37(2) agreement at contract award and maintain documentation in the contractor’s SHE file.
• Valid COID letter of good standing (LoG) and ongoing compliance for the contract duration.
• Implement health, hygiene and medical surveillance controls (pre-entry medicals, annual fitness where applicable).
• Appoint competent staff in line with OHS Act requirements; develop risk assessments, method statements, and PPE programmes.
• Adhere to Eskom Life-Saving Rules and non-conformance/penalty procedures.
• Complete and submit Annexure B acknowledgement form for OHS/legal requirements; submit pricing documents per NEC3/URS as applicable (see attached documents).
