Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of Onset HOBO (or equivalent) Submersible Temperature Loggers and Sensors. SAWS invites bids from suppliers capable of providing HOBO loggers and related gear (waterproof shuttle, BASE-U-4 USB Base Station, USBMB Cable, HOBOware software) per Annexure H. Budget up to R500,000; closing date 13 Oct 2026; validity 60 days; bids via email to SAWS.

Requirements

• Supplying Onset HOBO submersible temperature loggers and sensors, plus defined related items per Annexure H (and pricing per Annexure G).
• Compliance with SAWS GCC/SCC; complete Annexures A, B, C, F; sign Part C; POPIA consent (Annexure i).
• Tax and supplier registrations: SARS PIN or TCS certificate; CSD number if no TCS; VAT; B-BBEE status (Annexure A/C; SBD forms).
• Due diligence: may require site visits, final presentations, and an SLA with performance measures (Annexure A; 1.16–1.18).
• Price, delivery, and contract terms: prices VAT inclusive; delivery period per Annexure G; potential price adjustments per the provided formula; subcontracting proof if any.
• Preference points: 80/20 system with specific BBEE goals; must provide supporting documentation for claimed points (Annexure F).
