Overview

Procurement: Supply and delivery of animal feed (poultry, cattle and piggery) for Ilima Lokulima projects across BCMM, Great Kei, AmaHlathi, Ngqushwa, Mbashe and Mnquma Local Municipalities in the Amathole District. (SCMU 0149 Animal Feed.pdf) Prospective bidders are animal-feed suppliers/distributors with capacity to deliver to multiple sites and meet local-delivery timelines; bids will consider tax/compliance, BBBEE-specific goals, and delivery within 21 days of order.

Requirements

• Tax compliance verified on CSD; VAT registration if charging VAT; copy of company registration.
• Joint Venture documentation if applicable (JV agreement or Intention to form JV).
• Completion of all ECBD/Section 3/Section 4 returnables; signatory authority documentation; equity ownership declarations; black ink on forms.
• Evidence for specific goals (80/20 scoring): black-owned 51% EbM/QSE (10 pts), women-owned 51% (4 pts), youth-owned (2 pts), disability-owned (2 pts), and local provincial residence (2 pts). Documentation as specified in the bid data.
• Technical requirements: photographs/data sheets of quoted feed; ability to verify products prior to delivery; references for similar contracts.
• Delivery: all goods delivered within 21 days of order; delivery/off-loading costs included in bid; price inclusive of taxes (scope guidance; VAT handled per policy).
• No late submissions; corrections restricted; use of black ink; no correction fluid.
