SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF AUX BOILER C&I SPARES FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS (3 YEARS) FOR MEDUPI POWER STATION

Overview

Supply and delivery of auxiliary boiler C&I spares for Medupi Power Station over 36 months (3 years). Bidders should be capable suppliers of C&I spares for a coal-fired power plant, with Eskom tender experience, ISO 9001/quality planning capability, and ability to complete local-content declarations and integrity commitments.

Requirements

• Eligibility: must meet Tender Data criteria; not restricted to Eskom/SOEs; not sanctioned; not submit more than one tender; JV/consortium agreements must specify joint and several liability; no conflict of interest.
• Subcontracting: not allowed to subcontract 100% of the scope.
• Documentation and compliance: complete Annexures A–F, SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1 (PPPFA), SBD 6.2 where applicable; CPA/local-content declarations (Annexure G1–G4) if designated materials apply; Supplier Integrity Pact.
• Quality and safety: adhere to Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender and NEC3 SC3 contract framework; implement QMS/Quality Plan (ISO 9001) and QCP/ITP requirements where relevant.
• Local content: provide Local Content Declaration and related schedules; CPA requirements as applicable.

• Clarifications: submit questions in writing to Eskom Representative (LekgotTA@eskom.co.za) at least 5 days before closing; clarification meeting on 08 September 2026 (non-mandatory) via Microsoft Teams.
• Submission: electronic submission only via Eskom E-tendering portal (etendering.eskom.co.za); no hard copies; ensure PDFs (and pricing in PDF + Excel) are uploaded before the closing time.
• Deadlines and briefing: Closing date and time for tender submission per the ITT (02 October 2026 at 10:00 SA time; 180-day tender validity).
• Documents: download bid documents from Eskom’s e-tendering portal; submit Acknowledgement Form, pricing schedules, and all returnables (Annexures A–D, SBDs, etc.).
• Briefing: Non-compulsory clarification meeting on 08 Sept 2026 (Teams link in ITT).
