Overview

The tender seeks the supply and delivery of bearings, housings, sleeves and transmission couplings at Grootvlei Power Station on an as-and-when-required basis for five years. Target bidders are suppliers/distributors of bearings and related components with proven quality systems (ISO 9001), strong OHS/GHS compliance, and capability to manage long-term maintenance spares; preferred bidders may cite B-BBEE status for preferential points and CIDB registration where applicable. Requirements

• ISO 9001 based Supplier Quality Management System (QMS) and adherence to the Eskom Supplier Quality Management specification (QM 58) including Quality Plan, Contract Quality Plan, and post-contract quality monitoring. (Supplier quality management specification.pdf)
