Overview

Bid to supply and deliver blankets, foam mattresses and roof plastic sheets for a 3-year period to Ray Nkonyeni Municipality. Suitable bidders include manufacturers/distributors of bedding, foam products, and roofing sheets, with requirements to operate via the Central Supplier Database and comply with provincial procurement rules. Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with proof.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Clearance or PIN; possibly separate TCS for each JV/party.
• All bids on official forms; complete MBD 3.2, 4, 6.1, 8, 9 where applicable.
• Not in the state’s service; disclose any relationships with state employees.
• Samples to be submitted for evaluation; 80/20 preference framework with specific goals (black ownership thresholds) and related documentation.
• Price schedule: Non-firm prices with annual escalation; separate schedules if multiple delivery points.
• Deliveries must meet the listed specifications for blankets, foam mattresses and roof plastic sheets (see specification section).
• Bid validity: 120 days from closing date; closing date 23 June 2026, 12:00.
• If applicable, joint ventures must include JV agreements and separate TCS/CSD documentation per participant.

How to Apply

• Submit one (1) original and one copy in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “8/2/RNM0632 …”, deposited in the Bid Box at the Municipal offices, 10 Connor Street, Port Shepstone, by 12:00 on 23 June 2026.
• Submission method: physical delivery to the Bid Box; late bids not accepted.
• Include: company registration, certified IDs of directors/owners, valid Tax Compliance Certificate or PIN, CSD number if no TCS, and all MBD forms (4, 6.1, 8, 9). Provide JV agreements if applicable.
