Overview

Supply and delivery of body cameras for Bergrivier Municipality's traffic and law enforcement officers. Quotations are invited from competent service providers with experience in police-body-camera hardware and related peripherals; bidders must meet regulatory and SCM requirements (CSD/TCS, BBBEE, tax clearance) and follow the 80/20 PPPFA framework.

Requirements

• Must be registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide the CSD number; a Tax Compliance Status (TCS) Pin or Tax Clearance documentation is required.
• BBBEE status verification certificate or sworn affidavit (for preference points) must be submitted.
• Complete required bid documents (MBD forms) and the Pricing Schedule (MBD3.2) with VAT included; declare interests (MBD4) and other SCM declarations.
• Prices must be fixed, VAT-inclusive, and valid for 120 days; delivery must meet the specified location and timeframe.
• Recent municipal accounts for company and directors/shareholders; compliance with SARS/TCS requirements; no bids from persons in the state.

How to Apply

• Deadline: submit sealed quotations by 12:00 on 27 July 2026 (delivery box open 24/7 at 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg; postings accepted to PO Box 60, Piketberg 7320) (see MN141-2026 document).
• Submission method: sealed bid in the Bergrivier tender box or via post; clearly marked with the quotation number and title.
• Documents to submit: complete official bid response forms (MBD1, MBD3.2 pricing, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7, MBD8-10, declarations of interest, BBBEE, etc.), pricing schedule, and CSD/TCS documentation.
• Registrations: CSD registration and TCS Pin; VAT status; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; ensure SANAS or sworn verification if claiming BBBEE points.
