Overview

Supply and Delivery of Boiler Internal Tubing for Grootvlei Power Station Units 1 to 3 on an As-and-When-Required Basis. The contract covers boiler straight tubes meeting specified technical, material and certification standards with full traceability and quality compliance, to support maintenance/outage work at Grootvlei. Bidders should have capability in metallic fabrication, tube supply, testing/inspection and quality management for power-plant components.

Requirements

• Eligibility: must be able to bid under Eskom’s criteria, not restricted from doing business with Eskom/State-Owned Entities, not on sanctions lists, and not submitting multiple tenders (JV/consortium rules apply as per tender data).
• Documentation and returnables: submit a complete tender with technical, commercial and financial info; provide mandatory returnables (SBD forms, Annexures A–J) and a pricing schedule (PDF and Excel); local content declarations where applicable.
• Compliance: CSD registration is mandatory; CIDB is not applicable for this contract; comply with SHEQ, safety, and financial viability as contract requirements where stated.
• Submission specifics: use Eskom E-tendering; PDFs up to 500 MB per document, total up to 4 GB; price list to be in PDF and Excel; no hard copy accepted.
• Evaluation/contract: functionality threshold of 70% (non-compliant tenders are disqualified); price and specific goals evaluated under PPPFA 90/10 rules; NEC-based contract terms expected; cataloguing and security requirements may apply.

• Documents to submit: SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 4 (and other annexed forms as listed in Annexures A–J); Pricing Schedule/BOQ (PDF and Excel); SBD/CPA related content (Local/Imported Content forms); Scope of Work and Contractual documents (as per ITT and SOW).
• Registrations: CSD and other pre-qualifications per Eskom Tender Data; CIDB not applicable for this contract.
• Clarification/briefing: non-mandatory clarification session on 15 Sept 2026 (Teams); confirmation of attendance required.
