Overview

Supply and delivery of brush cutters and equipment for a 12-month contract to Umzimkhulu Local Municipality. Suitable bidders are reputable, experienced service providers; must be registered on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and able to supply MBD forms and authority to sign documents.

Requirements

• Registered on Central Suppliers Database (CSD) with proof or provide CSD registration number.
• Submit MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8 & MBD9; provide a Certificate of Authority to sign all documents, signed/dated on company letterhead by an authorized person.
• Tender documents must be on the company letterhead; signed by an authorized signatory.
• Evaluation uses 80/20: 80% price, 20% specific goals; provide documentation to claim SPGs (ownership, CIPC or CSD verification, director IDs) and proof of KZN location.
• Specific goals: 100% SA citizen ownership (10 points), 50% ownership (5 points), <50% ownership (2.5 points); promotion of business within KwaZulu-Natal (10 points).
• 180 days price validity.
• Non-submission of required documents can lead to disqualification.
