SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF BUILDING AND MAINTENANCE MATERIALS ON AN AS AND WHEN REQUIRED BASIS IN THE PORT OF RICHARDS BAY FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS

Overview

The procurement seeks the supply and delivery of building and plumbing materials on an as-and-when-required basis in the Port of Richards Bay for a period of three years. This invites bids from suppliers of building, plumbing and civil maintenance materials that can meet NHBRC standards for carpentry/structural items, deliver to Richards Bay on an as-needed basis, and comply with tax, BBBEE and governance requirements (SARS PIN/TCS, CSD, and integrity/NDAs).

Requirements

• NHBRC-compliant carpentry/structural materials (Scope of Requirements). (Annexure A)
• Pricing per the BOQ: delivered to Port Richards Bay, prices in Rand including VAT, first 12 months firm, with CPI adjustments for years 2–3. (BOQ - Civil Maintenance Materials.pdf)
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or TCS; CSD number if no TCS; separate TCS for JV/consortium members. (RFP documents)
• Compliance with Transnet bid framework: Master Agreement, General Bid Conditions, Supplier Integrity Pact and Non-Disclosure Agreement; compulsory briefing. (Annexure B, Annexure C, Annexure D, Annexure E)
• BBBEE: provide BBBEE status or sworn affidavit; JV arrangements require agreement or intention statement. (RFP documents)
