Overview

Bergrivier Municipality invites quotations for the supply and delivery of building materials for the bathroom conversion at Dwarskersbos Beach Resort. Bidders should be building-material suppliers with proven experience, BBBEE compliance, registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), and able to deliver to Dwarskersbos within 150 km of Piketberg.

Requirements

• CSD registration and CSD number (MAAA...) with Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN) or SARS tax clearance.
• BBBEE status: submit BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Fixed prices including VAT; quotations valid for 120 days.
• Complete mandatory forms: MBD1, MBD3.2, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10; comply with GCC.
• Delivery within 10 days after official order; packing/handling to meet standards; warranties of 12 months (goods) and 18 months post-shipment.
• Workshop/head office within 150 km of Bergrivier HQ in Piketberg.
• Locality points, price, BBBEE and specific goals in line with PPPFA; adhere to SCM policies.

• Submission deadline: 08 October 2026 at 12:00. Bids must be deposited in the tender box at 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg (or posted to P.O. Box 60, Piketberg 7320); tender box open 24/7.
• Submission method: sealed bids on official forms or online, clearly marked and delivered on time.
• Documents to submit: full set of bid documents (MBD 1,3.2,4,6.1,7.1,8,9,10), GCC, pricing schedule, CSD number (MAAA), Tax PIN, BBBEE certificate, municipal rates/account, and vendor details.
• Pre-qualification: CSD registration (mandatory) and tax clearance; local delivery capability; SANAS/B-BBEE verification as applicable.
