Overview

This tender is to supply and deliver building materials for the DPWI residential house at Butterworth Extension 7. Open tender issued by the Eastern Cape Department of Public Works and Infrastructure in Amathole. Bidders should be suppliers capable of providing a full bill of quantities (painting, carpentry, electrical, bricklaying, etc.) with delivery to East London within 30 days.

Requirements

• CSD registration and tax compliance prior to award; SARS PIN required; may use TCS or VAT vendor status.
• Complete and submit the following forms: SBD1 (Parts A&B), SBD4, SBD3.1 (Pricing Schedule), SBD6.1, Annexures A–C, and a Resolution to Sign.
• Brand name references allow equivalents; bid must include all costs (incl. VAT, delivery).
• Two-stage evaluation: Phase 1 administrative compliance; Phase 2 PPPFA (80/20) with specific goals; minimum admin requirements must be met.
• May be requested to provide material samples; supplier due diligence may be conducted.
• Delivery must be within 30 days of order; otherwise penalties apply per bid conditions.
