Overview

Procurement of C-Band 5G LNBs with compatible bandpass filters for satellite receivers and 5GHz network links. The South African Weather Service is seeking a supplier to supply four ICT items (LNB, bandpass filter, 60 GHz PtP radio, and a 5 GHz disk antenna) for delivery to Centurion, with an RFQ value up to R500k. Suitable bidders are hardware suppliers of RF/MEO components, with capability to deliver and support the listed equipment (OEM-compliant, allied accessories, and related certifications). Requirements

• Bidder must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provide a SARS Tax Clearance PIN; VAT registration may be required.
• Complete and submit all standard bidding documents: Annexure A (Invitation), SBD 3.1 (Pricing Schedule), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Form), and POPIA supplier consent where applicable.
• BBBEE: provide appropriate status or sworn affidavit; points claimed via Annexure F.
• Compliance: provide evidence of tax compliance; disclose any relationships or interests as per SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure).
• Technical and commercial: confirm compliance with item specifications or provide written confirmation of non-compliance; complete Annexure G (Pricing) and Annexure H (Specifications/Terms of Reference) (RFQ-4545...).
• Due diligence and performance: SAWS may conduct site visits, reference checks, and require a service-level agreement (SLA) post-award.
• Subcontracting: if applicable, provide subcontracting arrangements.
